Look Ma....

No training wheels.
Yep we finally did it, today was a wonderful day (sunny, warm with just the right amount of warmth) and after kicking around the soccer ball the boys wanted to ride their bikes and I mentioned it was about time they rode without TRAINING WHEELS.

For Patrick we just made the training wheel much higher (so he had to balance) but we didn't take them completely off. He did awesome I think he will be riding without them very very soon.


Not sure you can tell here but the training wheels are about 2 inches off the ground and he kept his balance most of the time (we are just waiting a little bit more to take them completely off)

As far as Robert, Rob jut took them off and told him to ride and he did ( I was with Patrick and I look toward the house and Robert is coming towards me riding WITH NO TRAINING WHEELS. I am so proud of him, no practice no push just get on and go......


He fell a couple of times but got back on and kept riding. Rob got his bike out too and they rode together for a while (so cute)

Hopefully I can start blogging again. I kinda lost track and fell off the blog train but I hope I can get the past few months up to date and eventually finish the posts I started from last year...

Hot or Cold?

January in NC is a wacky combination of warm wonderful, play outside kind of weather


And we take advantage of this...............

and just swing with it because you never know when



SNOW!
Of course snow in NC means everyone freaks out, schools close etc.
We had to take advantage of it anyway so here we goooooooooooooo...
Daddy wanted to get in on the fun (even though he was a bit under the weather)


after that run the "sled" was under the weather too!

We had fun pulling each other and sliding down our front lawn
Building forts and playing war games (in the snow)

Ready, set FIRE!!!!!!!

Of course the boys don't mind that at least while there is still snow (yeah they were out of school for 3 days....the snow only really lasted 1! maybe 2.....
There was some playing in the snow ...until it melted but since schools were closed there was a lot of this......

Anyway needless to say we had fun in the SNOW because:
our SNOW!

but enough is enough and it's time to get back to school...........

Well I have been the worst blogger in the UNIVERSE! I hope all my fans forgive me....
