SUMMER is OVER……………

I can’t believe SUMMER is over (as in SCHOOL is starting!!!!) . Today we kicked off the last day before school by a marathon Video gaming session that’s a must in this house and and once school starts is cut down to a minimum…

After I got home from work (short shift ended @ 10:30) and a few minutes just relaxing with momma we went to the park

Such a cute picture (at least I think so, the boys have gotten BIG over the Summer) not my babies anymore. There you have it our 5th and 2nd graders enjoying their last day before school starts….

It got a little to HOT for hanging @ the park so we decided to go here:

The boys love the water and we are lucky to have a pool in the community and also be members at the YMCA (we can swim year round if we want to).

Patrick will spend most of his time underwater, like a little fishy, of course Robert was right there with him, both trying to dive for our underwater weights (racing to see who would get to it first.)

After that we went home, showers, dinner and prepped lunches and book bags. It was a early bedtime, the boys were tired but excited.

Love me, love me not

As promised I finished my Valentine's decorations and I am here to share I hope you like.


After Christmas I bought (on clearance of course) a PINK tree (yes a pink christmas tree) , when Rob saw it (in the box) he said "that is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen" but I told him "Just wait it will turn out cute" and by golly I think it did (Wanna see for yourself?, but if you hate it keep it to yourself , ok? because I LOVE IT! )

Here is a close-up of this "UGLY" tree. I plan on adding more stuff as I make them in the next years, but for now this is almost done.

I did a few more decorations above the sink (I thinkI am going to add some garland or hanging hearts from the top) if time permits.

I also decorated to mantle, again it look a little bare and I think I need to add a garland or something (again if I have time)

Rob just walks around rolling his eyes with all the pink and love-dovey stuff (but deep down I know he loves it too!), but don't tell him I told you.

Anyway this is my way of getting back into blogging, come back soon I have a few Valentine secrets up my sleeve (for the boys) and of course pictures will be taken.

February Already.................

I have been an awful blogger (do I even qualify?) Anywho I can't believe it's February already, Valentines is around the corner and my baby's Birthday is in a month (OY!) .

Anywho I guess the best way to jump back into this little world of mine is share what's happening this month (I will update back months slowly as my laptop is not working and I don't really like working on the boys or Rob's computers).

I know if you read this blog you are family or close friends and you will understand (right?).

So this month so far we have managed to Celebrate "100 days" at school and Kindergaten and 1st grade get to have a cute little event where they do different activites in each room (using 100 as the theme).

Patrick had a blast of course he had to get a "100" painted on his face, he did 100 stamps, 100 stickers...................

but I think his favorite was the 100 fruit loop necklace (because he ate them all before the event was over)

And this month we have also celebrated one birthday February 5th (Abuelitos of course...........) we sent him cards, called on the phone and of course sent him a virtual card wanna see.............

Hope you had a wonderful Birthday dad! You are the best!

That's it for now, today I am hoping to finish my Valentines decorating and I will hopefully post a few pictures here.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know I have been a horrible blogger but I couldn't let today go by without wishing everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Today is day one of my back to blogging, I have tons of back posts to finish and I am making a promise to blog at least 1 or 2 time a month. I love sharing little bits of our life with family and friends and I hope I can get back on the blogging wagon.
