Took a few pictures (it ended up being more a project for us adults) but it was fun and we had a chance to chat and the kids had a chance to play and at the end we ended up with really cute T-shirts.
So here you go:
Here we are getting ready to start, you can see the magazine we got the idea from , right there at the bottom left hand corner.
First step, rubber band the t-shirts (to make either the small pumpkin faces or one single BIG pumpkin face)
Here's our dye bath (looks like orange koolaid), We dyed over 10 pieces and still had leftover dye (that got tossed of course)
Ok this pile of T-shirts are waiting for us to take all the rubber bands off ....
T-shirts waiting to be dried (so we can draw the faces on)
We don't have pictures of all the kids together in their t-shirts because it took a lot longer than we thought (we only realized it was late because the kids started to ask for dinner (oops!) so we left kinda in a hurry..............
But I did manage to get the boys to kinda pose for me............no fabulous pictures (Patrick insisted in trying to make every face we had drawn on his t-shirt and Robert , well he was just acting goofy (excuse the apartments in the background, not exactly where I wanted to take the shots but ............)
We just want to say thanks to our friends, we had a awesome time (and next time it at our house, ok?)
That's all I have for now check back soon we are going to NC State Fair (click on that link to check it out) next weekend.............
